Locals reported seeing dozens of police cars in the area.
Fans who had driven from several states having purchased tickets months in advance away were enraged.
"An hour and a half before the show?!?!" one commented. "we were driving from two hours away, we’re nearly there!!! and you waited until doors were OPENING and people paid $60 for parking TO CANCEL IT?? be so fr."
"Drove 2 and a half hours for the show to be cancelled a hour before hand, super unprofessional, traffic was a nightmare," another said. "Extremely frustrating considering other plans this summer. Bought these tickets in February."
"Absolutely ridiculous. Not a good first impression by Hershey stadium. (NOT BLAMING HERSHEY PARK FOR THIS)."
"Social media shows how self centered and uncaring people are," opined someone else. "Things like this happen and it’s nobody’s fault. Yes it frustrating but life goes on."
